We also provide other lawn and landscaping services like:
Soil test - A sample of your soil will be sent to a lab for analysis. A comprehensive test will be done to determine which nutrients your turf is in need of and also if lime needs to be applied.
Fertilizing - A balanced fertilizer is applied based on the soil test results.
Seeding - A blend of tall fescue seed is applied to an existing lawn.
Aerating - Core aeration is one type of aerating that is done. Plugs/cores of soil are removed from the ground so that the roots of the grass can get more oxygen.
Slitseeding - This is a combination of seeding and aeration. The soil is sliced and the seed is placed in the slits. This process provides a higher rate of germination than core aeration.
Broadleaf weed control - Weeds can germinate and grow throughout the entire year. Periodic spraying is necessary to minimize the broadleaf weeds.
Insect control - Insects can do damage to the turf blades as well as the grass roots. An insecticide can be applied to decrease the likelihood of this occurring.
Liming - Based on the soil test, lime can be added to the soil if the pH is low. A ph of 6.5- 7.0 is ideal for turf grass to utilize the fertilizers that are applied.
Sod Installation - The soil is properly prepared and new sod is installed. Unlike seeding, this will give you an instant lawn.
Lawn renovations - This is a process in which the lawn in entirely eradicated and then the soil is amended and a new lawn is seeded. This is usually done on yards that are overtaken by weeds or lawns that have several varieties of grasses growing.
Poison Ivy control - Poison ivy can be controlled with a liquid spray application. In some instances, more than one application is needed due to the maturity of the plant.
